Commonly our product is called beach sandals or more well-know with trending term, Flip-Flop, which was originated because of the sound that is made by the slapping between the sole of the foot and the floor while walking. The modern flip-flop descends from the Japanese zōri (Japanese-style Sandal), which became popular after the World War II when the United States soldiers returned to their country and brought it with them. About the same time, flip-flop was introduced to Indonesia in the 1940’s.

Geta
Sandals from Japan were invented in the early 17th century and are the beginning of today's modern sandals with a base made of wood and a sandal strap made of cloth.

In the 18th century Zeta then underwent a renewal to Zori with a pedestal still made of wood.
